Teenage Den — Get Them Out The House
15' frontage studio with French doors; 18' x 9' LoLine Garden Studio
Two families turned garden studios into teenage dens with pool tables and TV areas — entertainment for the kids and relief for the parents.
A garden studio makes an ideal teenage den — somewhere for older children to have their own space, with the bonus of a little peace back in the house for the parents.
Andrew and Julie chose a 15’ frontage studio with French doors as a hangout for their three sons, kitting it out with a pool table, a TV area and seating so the boys have their own place to relax with friends.
Nicky went for an 18’ x 9’ LoLine garden studio, again set up with entertainment and somewhere comfortable to sit. The LoLine roof keeps the building low-profile in the garden.
In both cases the studios serve a dual purpose: a dedicated entertainment venue for the teenagers, and a welcome bit of breathing room for everyone else.
