Our Story
Built by people obsessed with garden rooms
Booths Garden Studios began when founder Alex Booth built himself a garden shed around 1999 and became obsessed with designing better, hassle-free garden rooms. The company grew from £500,000 of sales in 2009 to £10.2 million in 2021, and now employs 51 people.
The UK's biggest seller of zero-maintenance garden offices, studios and rooms — built from steel, UPVC and glass with no external timber, so they never need painting or staining for at least 25 years.

Smarta 100 Award
MD Alex Booth recognised among the UK's most innovative 'game-changer' companies. The judging panel included Deborah Meaden of Dragons' Den. (Year to confirm — approx. 2012.)

My Flat Pack Home (presented by Amanda Lamb)
Booths featured in two episodes; the host couldn't believe how quickly the studio went up — almost too fast for the film crew. (Channel/dates to confirm.)
How installation works
- 1 Small studios install in one day; larger 2–3 days; very large 5–6 days.
- 2 Delivered in pallets; a crane is available. Designed for difficult/London access through houses and flats.
- 3 You prep: clear the site, send a site photo via our questionnaire, and provide power for the fitting team.
- 4 A small refundable deposit secures your date; design confirmed by floor plan at least 15 working days before installation.
- 5 In-house electrician (Booth's Electrical Services) handles armoured mains and air conditioning.
