Installing a Garden Studio on a Severe Slope
Booths garden studios can be installed on severely sloped gardens using the FabSlab base system and support struts, avoiding expensive groundworks.
Booths Garden Studios can be installed on sloped terrain. A 12’ x 12’ garden office owned by Stephen showcases an open-base approach, with plantings beneath rather than skirting. The FabSlab base system accommodates various surfaces — grass, soil, gravel or concrete — and slopes of up to one metre in height difference.
An 18’ x 12’ LoLine QC studio on a severe slope, belonging to Andy, serves as an office where the owner reports he feels like he is “working in the woods.” Optional skirting can conceal the base struts, with protective brickwork added when installed on grass to guard against strimmers.
A 16’ x 8’ QCB5 required extra support struts due to leg heights exceeding 200mm, avoiding expensive groundworks. Decorative plantings help integrate the structures naturally into gardens while reducing costs.
